International Women's Day

Today on International Women's Day I wanted to share some words of empowerment with you:

As I think about women's day, a flood of thoughts hit forefront in my mind, yet the one word that resonates the deepest is "empowerment." I believe that women have a beautiful gift of choosing words that bring life to others and rallying in the unified voices of love, community, connection, and compassion. I believe that women feel with a heart from the Lord and extend presence to the world in ways that moves mountains, calms oceans, splits waters, tames lions, and settles hearts. I believe that despite the wayward moments, the movement of light within womanhood is ushering in peace amidst dark corners. I believe women hold a specific purpose & share an enlightened vision with this world, and I value the diversity of perspective we attain when people share who they are created to be with us.

To ALL the women, no matter your season reading this, this letter is for you:

I know that seasons vary and that the bitterness from the cold can wither a soul, yet I also know the burst of joy that arises from spring and the warmth that summer brings. No matter your season, know that you are KNOWN< SEEN> HEARD> VALUED and that those places, be it hope or despair, MATTER. Allow your story to be shared with others, because you truly never know the inward battle others are fighting and your words just may be the place that give another soul enough strength for the tomorrow.

"She was powerful, not because she wasn't scared but because she went on so strongly, despite the fear." Atticus

AS you journey your ebbs and your flows, may you know that you are never defined by arrows that soar toward your way. You are KNOWN by your spirit, SEEN by your stance, HEARD by your plight, and VALUED by your purposed days. You do not have to arrive to be celebrated, for your life holds meaning and a reason and for that a praise is readily lifted for you in the everyday.

"When you start to feel like things should have been better this year, remember the mountains and valleys that got you here. They are not accidents and those moments weren't in vain. You are not the same you have grown and you are growing: you are breathing, you are living. You are wrapped in endless, boundless grace and things WILL get getter. There is more to you than yesterday. - Morgan harper nichols

You are created with ability, with talent, with personality, and with a wiring that attracts you to places in the world where YOU can contribute and build up so that others know their purpose as well. Do not think light of who you are because ALL souls were created with a light to shine. "Her" gift does not lesson yours. "Her" success does not minimize yours. I will say it again. YOU have ability. YOU have talent. YOU have personality and traits that connect to others. YOU bring beauty to this world, simply by being you. So let us see you- let us know you- let us see you for who are capable of being and let competition die, because the world needs more light and that's you.

"If you hear a voice within you say 'you cannot paint,' then by all means paint, and that voice will be silenced." Vincent Van Gogh

I said it earlier, but I will repeat again: the world NEEDS more light and that's YOU being true to YOU. Because when you can live out your calling then an aroma of kindness and of joy breathes all around.

"I believe in you." Words that water flowers - Michael Faudet

Just because others may run faster than you, does not mean that you are slow. Allow yourself to run the mile that you are in and trust the process of your journey. Growth takes time and healing needs space to mend its brokenness. It's ok to rise and to fall within the pages, because the restoration story is about the leaning in of grace received in a heart at rest with the journey of it all.

"Learn me slowly. Please, be patient with my pages." - Pavana

SO, my dear fellow woman. STAND firmly in your season with courage to grow. SHOW up to your season with grace to live with the process. FOCUS on your strengths with confidence and with affirmation. NEVER define yourself by the weaknesses.

"And on day she discovered that she was fierce, and strong, and full of fire, and that not even she could hold herself back because her passion burned brighter then her fears." - Mark Anthony

You are woman and for that I celebrate you today.

All my Love,

Trishia
